Liberty City Stories brings the GTA chaos to the PSP, and honestly, it’s impressive how much they crammed into that little system. You play as Toni Cipriani, a guy who’s basically the mob’s errand boy at first—running hits, shaking down businesses, the usual criminal starter pack. The city feels familiar if you played GTA 3, but it’s 1998 now, so the vibe’s a little grungier, a little more payphone-and-pagers.
What’s cool is how the side hustles sneak up on you. One minute you’re gunning down rival gangsters, the next you’re desperately trying to deliver pizzas without wrecking the car (spoiler: you’ll wreck the car). And yeah, some old faces pop up, but the story stands on its own—no homework required.
Multiplayer’s where things get stupid fun. Six players, all trying to out-gangster each other in deathmatches or capture-the-flag but with more Molotovs. It’s exactly the kind of mess you’d expect from GTA on the go.
