Play Gremlins 2 Online
You're Gizmo with a tiny bow, picking off gremlins between pixel-perfect jumps in a tower full of ridiculous traps—it's as chaotic as the movie, just shrunk down to Game Boy size.

I picked up Gremlins 2 on Game Boy back in 1990, a Sunsoft release that came out around the same time as the movie. It was one of those licensed games that felt right at home on the handheld, a side-scrolling adventure that didn't try to reinvent the wheel but offered a solid challenge for anyone with a long bus ride or a quiet afternoon to fill. The graphics were simple, the music tinny but catchy, typical of the era's portable offerings.
You control Gizmo, the little mogwai, armed with a bow and arrow to take down the gremlins that have overrun the Clamp Center. The goal is to climb the tower, floor by floor, rescuing hostages and eventually confronting the main gremlin threats. You move screen by screen, clearing enemies and avoiding environmental hazards like electrical traps and falling platforms. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially in later stages with more aggressive enemy patterns. It feels tense and a little frantic, like you're always one mistimed jump away from starting over.
