Play Gremlins 2 - The New Batch (1990) Online
You play as Gizmo scrambling through a chaotic office building—dodging gremlins, figuring out weird weapons, and praying you survive the janky platforming. That electric wire level still haunts me.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch came out for MS-DOS in 1990, published by Sunsoft. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games from the era, where you expected a certain level of clunky charm and unforgiving level design. The game captures the film's chaotic energy but translates it into a side-scrolling platformer that feels very much of its time.
You control Gizmo, navigating a multi-story office building overrun with gremlins. Your main goal is to rescue Billy and Kate while surviving each floor's hazards. The gameplay involves screen-by-screen exploration, using unconventional weapons like a bow and arrow or a bubble wand to fend off enemies. The pacing is relentless, with tricky jumps and enemy placements that demand precision. It feels like a frantic, sometimes unfair scramble where every cleared screen brings a small rush of relief.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
