Game Overview
Gun.Smoke is this old-school NES shooter where you play as a bounty hunter named Billy Bob—yeah, that’s really his name—riding through the Wild West blasting outlaws. It’s one of those top-down arcade-style games where bullets come at you from every direction, and half the time you’re just praying you picked up enough ammo drops to survive the next wave.
The controls take a second to get used to since you shoot in eight directions but move independently, so you end up doing this awkward shuffle while trying to aim. Once it clicks though, it’s weirdly satisfying to mow down bandits on horseback or take out a whole saloon full of trigger-happy goons. Just don’t expect a deep story—this is pure arcade chaos with a cowboy hat slapped on it.
Also, the music is an absolute earworm that’ll stick with you for days.
