Play Hexen (J) Online
Pick a fighter, cleric, or mage—each swings weapons or slings spells totally differently—then get lost in maze-like dungeons full of hidden switches and ambushes. That eerie N64 soundtrack makes every creepy corridor feel even tighter.

Hexen (J) came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, developed by Raven Software and published by id Software. It was one of the darker, more complex first-person games on the system, arriving at a time when many players were still getting used to 3D exploration and combat.
You choose one of three character classes—fighter, cleric, or mage—each with unique weapons and magic. Your goal is to stop the second coming of the serpent god Eidolon by navigating through interconnected, puzzle-heavy levels. You'll push walls, flip switches, and hunt for keys while fighting off monsters with swords, fireballs, or holy spells. The pace is deliberate, and the level design can be confusing, but figuring out each environmental puzzle brings a real sense of progress. It feels like a slow, thoughtful crawl through a world that wants you to pay attention.
