The pitching’s snappy, the fielders move like they’ve had too much caffeine, and every hit has this satisfying crack to it. I kept expecting it to play like RBI Baseball, but there’s something offbeat about it—maybe the way the runners slide headfirst every single time, or how the outfielders occasionally forget how gravity works.

No MLB teams here, just oddly named Japanese squads (I picked the "Super Stars" because, well, why not?). The season mode’s barebones, but the real fun is in the two-player matches—my friend nearly threw his controller when I bunted for a walk-off win.
