Game Overview

Hunter on the Amiga is one of those games that just throws you into the deep end—you're a lone soldier up against an enemy that’s taken over most of the world, and the clock’s ticking. The missions? Anything from blowing stuff up to straight-up assassinations, but here’s the kicker: you can tackle them however you want. Sneak in wearing an enemy uniform, go full Rambo with grenades, or just hijack a tank and level the place.

The world’s fully 3D, which was wild for its time, and you can hop into pretty much anything that moves—bikes, helicopters, even windsurfers (yes, really). Some of the vehicles have mounted guns, but honestly, half the fun is just seeing what ridiculous thing you can commandeer next. Buildings aren’t just set dressing either—you can bribe civilians, loot supplies, or stumble onto hidden stashes of gear.

It’s chaotic, open-ended, and sometimes a little janky, but that’s part of the charm. You’ll spend as much time experimenting with dumb strategies as actually completing objectives. If you like games where creativity (or sheer stubbornness) gets rewarded, this one’s a blast.
