Game Overview

Hunter x Hunter: Wonder Adventure is one of those PSP games that actually makes you feel like you're diving into the anime. You start off picking between Gon, Killua, Kurapika, or Leorio—each with their own fighting style, and yeah, of course I went with Killua first. The combat's fast, kinda hack-and-slash but with enough combos to keep it interesting.

What surprised me was how big some of the areas feel for a PSP game. You’re running through forests, caves, and cities that actually look like they’re pulled straight from the show. And yeah, you’ll recognize a bunch of story moments, though it’s not just a straight retelling—there’s some original stuff mixed in too. The boss fights are where it really shines, especially when you’re dodging and countering like an actual Hunter.

If you’re into Hunter x Hunter at all, this is probably the closest you’ll get to playing through the world on PSP. Just don’t expect a deep RPG—it’s more about the action and fan service.
