Ibara Kuro: Black Label takes the already brutal arcade shooter and cranks it up—same gorgeous pixel art and soundtrack (mostly), but everything feels sharper. You pick between Bond or Dyne’s ship now, each with four tweakable speed/power setups. Hold fire to charge stronger shots, but you’ll crawl to a near-stop—risky when the screen’s full of bullets.

The new rank meter up top is brutal honesty: the better you play, the harder enemies hit back. At least you can finally switch between all your weapons instead of being stuck with whatever power-up you last grabbed. Missiles, napalm, homing shots—they’re all yours to juggle mid-fight. Just don’t get too comfortable; those Guardians hit like trucks now.

It’s still unmistakably Ibara—just meaner, louder, and with way more explosions. The kind of shooter where one credit feels like a full workout.
