Game Overview

So Igor: Objective Uikokahonia is this weirdly charming MS-DOS point-and-click adventure where you play as Igor, a college kid obsessed with a girl named Laura. Problem is, she barely knows he exists—and his smug rival Phillip is also trying to win her over. When Igor overhears they’re both going on some tropical island trip, he’s gotta find a way to tag along. Except he’s broke, not in the right major, and hasn’t written his essay. Typical.

Gameplay feels straight out of a LucasArts classic—pixelated scenes, inventory puzzles, and that satisfying "aha!" moment when you finally figure out how to combine a paperclip with a cafeteria tray. The CD-ROM version adds voice acting (hilariously earnest) and better music, though you’ll need ScummVM or DOSBox to run it smoothly on modern systems. It’s janky in places, but the writing’s got this dry humor that makes Igor’s desperate schemes weirdly endearing.

Honestly, half the fun is watching him fail spectacularly before stumbling into solutions. The island’s not even the main focus—just getting there is the adventure.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
