Game Overview

Incredible Hulk was released in 1997 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by Eidos, Inc. It came out during a time when side-scrolling action games were common, and it stood out for letting players control the Hulk in a straightforward, destructive adventure. The game didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it captured the character's raw power in a way that felt right for the platform.

You play as the Hulk, moving through levels filled with soldiers, robots, and obstacles. Your main goal is to smash everything in your path, rescue hostages, and defeat bosses. Signature mechanics include breaking through walls and floors to find secrets, as well as picking up and throwing objects like cars and crates at enemies. The pacing is fast, though some sections can feel repetitive, and the difficulty spikes in later stages keep you on your toes. It feels satisfying to tear through each stage with little regard for subtlety.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
