If you've ever wanted to step into Indy's fedora, this Amiga classic nails that pulpy adventure feel. You start off scrambling through familiar movie locations—that Venice library chase? Yeah, you're doing that—but with extra puzzles and Nazi encounters the film skipped. The SCUMM interface takes some getting used to (why does "open" sometimes mean "smash with chair"?), but once it clicks, you're tossing bad guys off zeppelins and outsmarting guards with ridiculous improvised traps.

What surprised me is how much the game leans into Indy's klutziness—one wrong move in a tomb and you're impaled or crushed like it's a Monty Python sketch. The action sequences are janky by today's standards, but there's something charming about frantically mousing your way through a fistfight while some Nazi goon whiffs punches. And hey, at least the VGA version makes the grail temple look less like a toddler's crayon drawing.

Just don't expect your dad to be helpful. Half his dialogue boils down to "that belongs in a museum!" while you're getting shot at.
