Game Overview
Infestation is a first-person action-adventure game set on the doomed Alpha 2 research colony of Xelos, overrun by deadly alien eggs. As the hero Kal Solar, players must navigate the 3D environment, using an immersive helmet HUD to monitor health, oxygen, and jetpack fuel. The game blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat, requiring players to operate computers, scavenge supplies, and strategically destroy all 167 alien eggs before shutting down the facility and escaping.Notable for its early 3D perspective and detailed interface, Infestation immerses players in a tense sci-fi survival scenario. With dual movement modes for navigation and combat, along with interactive systems like infrared detection and oxygen management, it offers a challenging, methodical experience reminiscent of classic DOS-era shooters. The stakes are high—failure means a full alien infestation, making every decision critical.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
