Between fights, you recruit crew members with unique skills, customize your fleet's loadouts, and manage resources across a vast, interconnected map. The pacing is deliberate, with travel and preparation often taking as much time as combat itself, and the difficulty doesn't shy away from punishing mistakes. It feels like conducting a fragile, personalized armada through a universe that doesn't care if you're ready.
