Ishar 3 is one of those classic Amiga RPGs that feels both ambitious and a little rough around the edges—in a good way. You start off assembling a party from a weirdly specific lineup of characters (ever wanted a team with a barbarian, a thief, and a necromancer? Here you go). The world’s got that old-school charm—pixelated towns, cryptic NPCs, and dungeons that’ll make you scribble notes on actual paper.

Combat’s turn-based but quick, and the magic system’s surprisingly deep once you figure it out. The graphics are peak early '90s Amiga—moody, colorful, and just detailed enough to make you squint at your CRT. It’s the kind of game where you’ll get lost for hours, then realize you forgot to eat lunch.

If you’re into retro RPGs with a bit of jank and a lot of personality, this one’s worth dusting off the floppy drive for.
