Oh man, Iznogoud—this weird little MS-DOS game where you play as the world’s most incompetent villain. You’re the Grand Vizier, constantly scheming to overthrow the Caliph, but every plan backfires in the most ridiculous ways. Trip him with a banana peel? He slips—right into a pile of gold coins. Poison his tea? He mistakes it for perfume and sprays it everywhere. The animations are janky in that perfect early-'90s way, and the puzzles walk this fine line between clever and completely absurd.
What really sells it is the dark humor, straight from the French comics it’s based on. You’ll find yourself cackling at the dialogue while simultaneously groaning at your own terrible ideas. It’s like if Prince of Persia let you be the bad guy, except you’re hilariously bad at it. Short, chaotic, and full of personality—this one’s a cult classic for a reason.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
