The pixelated courses have this weird charm, and the physics actually make sense once you get used to them. Also, the fact that it’s got Jack Nicklaus’ name on it gives it that extra bit of 90s sports game credibility. Just don’t expect modern PGA Tour polish—this is pure old-school golf, complete with questionable putting mechanics. Still, it holds up better than most sports games from that era.
