Play Jim Lees WildC.A.T.S Online
Pick a superpowered misfit from the WildC.A.T.S. crew and brawl through waves of goons—chunky 90s sprites, simple combos, and that sweet SNES-era punch feel. Grifter’s pistols make him the obvious choice.

Jim Lee's WildC.A.T.S. came out on the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Beam Software. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture the energy of a comic book, a pretty common sight on the system. You got to play as these superpowered characters from the comic, which was the main draw if you were a fan.
You pick one character from the team, like Grifter with his dual pistols or Warblade with his extendable claws, and fight through side-scrolling stages. The goal is to punch and kick your way to the end of each level, defeating the boss waiting there. The combat relies on simple combos and special moves executed with button combinations; you also break open crates and barrels for health or points. It moves at a decent clip, but the enemy patterns and some cheap hits can make it frustrating. Controlling these heroes feels responsive, even if the action gets repetitive after a while.
