Game Overview

Jumpman on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little guy climbing ladders and dodging falling objects—but then suddenly you're sweating over pixel-perfect jumps while bombs rain down. The controls are tight, and the levels get brutal fast. I remember thinking "Okay, this isn't so bad" right before the third stage introduced bouncing balls that ricochet at the worst possible angles.

What I love is how it doesn’t hold your hand—no tutorials, no mercy—just pure platforming chaos. The sound effects are weirdly satisfying too, especially the little "boing" when you land on a spring. It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a dozen times and still mutter "one more try" under your breath.

If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator, this one’s a must-play—just don’t blame me when you start seeing falling hazards in your sleep.
