Play Jungle Strike (USA, Europe) Online

You pilot a Comanche chopper through city streets, dodging missiles and blasting cartel goons—then suddenly you're in a hovercraft or stealth bomber, mixing up the chaos. The isometric view feels weird at first, but nailing those tight maneuvers is pure '90s action.

Game Overview

Jungle Strike is one of those Genesis games that just feels cool to play. You start off piloting a Comanche helicopter, weaving through city streets and blowing up drug lord goons—it’s got that classic '90s action movie vibe. The isometric view takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, dodging missiles while raining down hell on Ortega’s cartel is stupidly satisfying.

What I love is how they mix it up—one mission you’re in a hovercraft skimming across water, the next you’re in a stealth bomber dropping payloads on Kilbaba’s desert fortress. The bike levels are a little janky, but hey, it’s the early '90s. You can tell the devs were having fun with this one.

It’s not perfect, but if you miss that era of arcade-style chaos, this holds up way better than most.
