Game Overview

Jungle Strike picks up where Desert Strike left off, but this time things get personal. Kilbaba Jr. — way more unhinged than his dad — is out for blood, teaming up with a drug lord who’s got his own private army and a nuclear weapons program tucked away in the South American jungle. Guess who gets called in to clean up the mess?

You’re back in the Comanche helicopter, but it’s not just about air strikes anymore. One minute you’re raining hellfire missiles on enemy bases, the next you’re skimming rivers in a speedboat dropping mines or doing drive-bys with a jeep’s mounted guns. The missions flip between chaotic and methodical — miss one fuel depot, and suddenly you’re limping back to base with smoke pouring out of your chopper.

It’s got that classic Amiga vibe: chunky pixels, explosions that shake the screen, and just enough story to make blowing stuff up feel righteous. The jungle levels are brutal, though — trees eat missiles for breakfast, and Ortega’s goons love hiding in the canopy.
