Play Kikou Keisatsu Metal Jack (Japan) Online
Pick an armored cop, smash through waves of goons with clunky but satisfying punches, and watch out for those slow swings—helicopters and robots don’t wait around.

Game Overview
Kikou Keisatsu Metal Jack is one of those Japan-only SNES beat-em-ups that slipped under the radar—probably because the planned US release (as Metal Jack: Armored Police) got axed. It’s based on the anime, so expect chunky sprites, mech suits, and a lot of punching through waves of goons. The Game Boy version exists too, but the SNES one’s where the action feels right—clunky in that classic early ‘90s way, but with enough flashy moves to keep you throwing fists.
You start off as one of three armored cops, each with their own weirdly specific playstyle. I went with the heavy hitter first, because why not? Turns out his slow swings leave you open way too often, so maybe don’t do that. The music’s got that crunchy synth vibe, and the levels throw everything at you—helicopters, robots, the usual. Not a masterpiece, but if you dig obscure anime brawlers, it’s a solid time-waster.
