King's Quest V on the Amiga is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that feels like stepping into a fairy tale—if fairy tales had frustratingly obscure puzzles and the occasional dead end. You play as King Graham, wandering through beautifully painted landscapes (for the time, anyway) trying to rescue your family from an evil wizard. Expect to talk to talking owls, get turned into a frog at least once, and maybe throw a pie at a yeti if you're lucky.

The Amiga version has that slightly smoother animation and richer color palette compared to the DOS original, though you'll still spend half your time trying to figure out what you're supposed to click on next. The music’s surprisingly good, though—just don’t expect any hand-holding. If you’ve got the patience for old-school adventure logic, it’s a nostalgic trip worth taking.
