Klustar is one of those Game Boy Color puzzlers that somehow slipped under the radar, which is a shame because it's got this weirdly satisfying star-matching mechanic. You're not just dropping blocks—you're rotating these little constellations, trying to slot them together before the screen fills up. The first few levels trick you into thinking it's easy, then suddenly you're sweating over a nearly-full grid with one wrong move left.
What really stuck with me was the atmosphere. The spacey background music and those twinkling star clusters make it feel like you're solving puzzles in some cosmic observatory. I used to play it on the bus and completely miss my stop because I'd zone out matching purple nebulas. It's not flashy, but there's something oddly comforting about the whole thing—like a warm blanket made of 8-bit astronomy.
If you dig Tetris but wish it had more swirling galaxies and less Soviet-era minimalism, give this one a shot. The cartridge still goes for cheap, too.
