Game Overview

Ever found yourself trapped in a bunker with nothing but a pile of suspiciously well-preserved potato croquettes? Korokke Yume no Bunker Survival is that exact fever dream turned into a Game Boy Advance game. You ration weird food, poke at rusty equipment, and try not to lose your mind while pixelated shadows creep outside your shelter.

The first time I played, I burned through half my korokke stash before realizing some are clearly moldy (the game doesn't tell you—you just get sick). Later runs involve balancing hunger against the risk of food poisoning, which sounds grim but somehow stays hilarious thanks to the game's deadpan tone. There's something deeply satisfying about surviving another day just to find a new batch of slightly-less-questionable croquettes.

It's short, janky in that classic GBA way, and one of the few games where "eat the glowing croquette" might actually be good advice. The bunker's full of little secrets if you're patient enough to poke at every pixel.
