Kung Fu Kid is one of those classic Sega Master System games that feels simple at first—until you realize those thugs love sneaking up behind you while you're busy punching the guy in front. You've got seven rounds to fight through, each with a 99-second timer ticking down, and the last thing you want is to run out of time mid-kick.
The bosses are no joke, especially in round six where they throw multiple at you back-to-back. And yeah, the Brazilian version is wild—they swapped the hero for a stinky toy toad named Sapo Xulé, which somehow makes the whole thing even more ridiculous. If you finish a round with time and energy left, you get bonus points, but honestly, just surviving feels like a win sometimes.
It's the kind of game where you'll yell at the screen when some goon cheap-shots you from off-camera, but you'll still hit continue because you need to see that final showdown with Madanda.
