Play Laser Squad Online
You micromanage every move of your cyborg squad, sweating over gear choices while aliens pick off your mistakes—one wrong step and it's back to the load screen. That grenade toss you're proud of? Your co-op partner's still mad about it years later.

Laser Squad came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by MicroLeague Multimedia. It was a tactical sci-fi game that fit right in with the turn-based strategy titles of that era, offering a methodical, thoughtful alternative to faster-paced action games.
You control a small team of soldiers or rebels, depending on the scenario, and guide them through grid-based missions against alien or enemy forces. The main objective is usually to eliminate all hostiles, secure an item, or survive a set number of turns. Key mechanics include action point management for movement and attacks, line-of-sight considerations for ranged combat, and destructible terrain that can be used strategically. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with a high difficulty that punishes careless decisions. It feels tense and deeply satisfying when a plan comes together.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
