Play Last Airbender, The (DSi Enhanced) (E) Online
Swiping fireballs with the stylus feels weirdly good—earthbending packs a punch, while air moves flow fast. Yeah, it looks rough, but nailing those bending combos hits just right.

I picked up The Last Airbender for the Nintendo DS back in 2010, a game published by THQ. It was a time when licensed titles were common on the handheld, often trying to capture the feel of a show between your thumbs. This one aimed to let you step into the world of bending, a direct tie-in with the film that came out the same summer.
You control Aang, mastering the four elements to fight the Fire Nation. The main goal is to progress through levels, defeating enemies and solving environmental puzzles. The touch screen is central; you draw specific symbols to execute different bending attacks, like slashing for fire or tapping for earth. Movement is screen-by-screen, with some light platforming and occasional boss fights. The pacing is straightforward, and the difficulty isn't too punishing once you get the gestures down. It feels tactile and immediate, especially when a well-timed water whip connects.
