I picked up The Last Airbender for the Nintendo DS back in 2010, a THQ release that came out alongside the film. It was a solid time for licensed games on the handheld, fitting right in with other action-adventure titles of that era. You don't see many games making full use of the touch screen like this one tried to do.

You control Aang, working through side-scrolling levels to master the four elements and defeat the Fire Nation. The main draw is the bending combat, which relies on specific stylus gestures to cast spells; drawing a circle creates a water whip, while a sharp slash sends out a burst of fire. Between fights, you navigate environmental puzzles, often using bending to move obstacles or manipulate water and earth. The pacing is brisk, and some later enemy patterns demand quick reflexes. It feels tactile and involved when the controls respond well.
