Game Overview

Remember when learning math meant sitting in front of a chunky CRT monitor with a floppy disk whirring in the drive? "Learn to Add" is that kind of game—no fancy 3D models, no voice acting, just bright, blocky numbers and that satisfying beep when you get an answer right. It’s basically digital flashcards, but with more personality than you’d expect from something this simple.

I’ll admit, the first time I booted it up, I wasn’t sure if I’d last more than five minutes. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about the way it drills addition without any distractions. The colors are aggressively cheerful, like someone fed a Commodore 64 a handful of Skittles, and the sound effects are straight out of a 1980s classroom. If you ever played *Number Munchers* as a kid, this feels like its stripped-down, no-nonsense sibling.

Perfect for actual kids learning math—or adults who miss the days when software came on physical disks and took three minutes to load. It won’t teach you calculus, but it’ll make you smile while you remember what 7+8 equals.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
