Game Overview
LEGO Batman 2 on the DS is basically Gotham City but made of bricks—and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. You start off as Batman (obviously), but pretty soon Superman shows up, and then it’s a whole DC party. The Joker and Lex Luthor team up, because of course they do, and suddenly you’re smashing LEGO cars and rebuilding them into weird contraptions to solve puzzles.
What’s fun is how the game doesn’t take itself too seriously—Batman grumbles, Superman flies into stuff, and Robin just vibes. The DS version keeps things simple but still nails that LEGO charm, even if the screen’s tiny. You’ll switch between heroes to use their powers, like Superman’s heat vision to melt stuff or Batman’s… well, being grumpy.
It’s not the fanciest LEGO game out there, but if you want to punch LEGO bad guys as Superman while Batman sighs in the background, it’s a good time. Just watch out for the Riddler trophies—they’re everywhere.
