Play LEGO Batman - The Videogame (High Road) (J) Online
Chase Gotham’s villains as LEGO Batman, smashing everything into plastic studs—Robin’s magnet suit grabs stuff, while Batman just punches his way through. The DS controls feel janky at first, but wrecking the city with taps never stops being weirdly satisfying.

I picked up LEGO Batman for the Nintendo DS back in 2008, a game developed by Traveller's Tales. It was a solid handheld entry during that era of licensed LEGO games, fitting right in with the portable library of the time. The dual screens and touch controls gave it a unique feel compared to the console versions, making it a distinct experience for on-the-go play.
You control Batman and Robin, switching between them to solve puzzles and fight through levels based on the films. The main goal is to stop Gotham's villains by progressing screen by screen, smashing objects for studs, and building new devices from the debris. Signature mechanics include using character-specific suits, like Robin's magnetic suit to access new areas, and Batman's glide suit for crossing gaps. The pacing is steady, with a moderate difficulty that comes more from figuring out the environmental puzzles than from combat. It feels satisfying to systematically dismantle each stage, piece by plastic piece.
