Game Overview

Let’s Spell At Home is one of those classic Amiga games that makes learning feel like exploring. You wander through different rooms of a house—kitchen, bedroom, even the garden—and click on stuff like a toaster or a teddy bear. Then the game asks you to spell it out by picking letters from a jumbled alphabet.

There’s a chill mode for little kids where the word’s already spelled out, so they just match the letters. Older kids get the harder version where they have to figure it out themselves, though there’s a hint button if they get stuck. I remember the kitchen being weirdly fun—who knew spelling "refrigerator" could feel like a mini victory?

It’s simple, but the hand-drawn scenes give it this cozy, lived-in vibe that makes clicking around satisfying.
