Licence to Kill came out on the Amiga in 1989, published by Domark. It was one of those many movie tie-ins from the era, trying to capture the feel of the James Bond films with the technology available at the time. The game mixes different visual perspectives, shifting between an overhead view for driving and exploration and side-scrolling sections for the more direct action.

You control James Bond, moving through a series of missions that involve rescuing hostages, gathering intelligence, and eliminating key targets. The gameplay blends stealth with outright shootouts; you have a silenced pistol for quiet takedowns, but things can quickly escalate into a firefight. There are also vehicle chase sequences where you pursue enemies or try to escape. The difficulty is fairly unforgiving, requiring careful planning and quick reflexes. It feels like a tense, sometimes clunky, but earnest attempt to translate a spy thriller into a video game.
