Game Overview

Domark released 007: Licence to Kill for MS-DOS in 1989, a time when movie tie-ins often meant adapting blockbuster action into chunky pixels and simple mechanics. This one drops you into the world of Timothy Dalton's Bond, tasked with revenge against the drug lord Sanchez, all rendered in the blocky graphics and limited color palettes typical of the era.

You control Bond through a mix of driving, shooting, and exploration levels, each with its own objectives, like destroying a drug processing plant or rescuing a captured ally. The game shifts perspectives; one moment you're in an overhead view avoiding mines in a speedboat, the next you're in a first-person driving section or a side-scrolling shootout. The difficulty is unforgiving, with instant deaths and limited continues forcing careful movement and quick reflexes. It feels like a tense, sometimes clumsy race against the clock, where every successful level brings a small but genuine thrill.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
