Game Overview

KKND: Krush Kill 'N Destroy came out in 1997 for MS-DOS, developed by Melbourne House. It was part of that wave of real-time strategy games that followed Command & Conquer, offering a post-apocalyptic setting with a gritty, industrial look that fit right in with the era's PC gaming aesthetic.

You command one of three factions—Survivors, Evolved, or Series 9 robots—gathering resources, building bases, and managing armies of infantry and vehicles across a scarred landscape. The main goal is to crush your opponent's production structures while defending your own. Key mechanics include scavenging for supply crates to gain instant resources or units, and using elevation for tactical advantages in combat. The pace is fast, with skirmishes breaking out quickly, and the difficulty can be punishing if you fall behind in expansion. It feels tense and scrappy, like every battle could tip the whole match.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
