Game Overview

Livingstone, I Presume? is one of those old-school MS-DOS platformers that feels both charming and punishing at the same time. You play as an explorer dodging traps, jumping over pits, and collecting artifacts—pretty standard stuff for '86, but the controls are surprisingly tight for the era. The first time I played, I didn’t expect much, but the level design actually makes you think before you leap (literally).

That said, it’s got that classic "die and retry" difficulty—one wrong move and you’re back to the start of the stage. The graphics are simple, but there’s something satisfying about the way your little explorer moves. If you’re into retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time capsule.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
