Play Looney Tunes : Back in Action Online
Guide Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck through colorful levels, dodge enemies, throw eggs, and use quirky moves to defeat foes in this 2003 platformer.
I picked up Looney Tunes: Back in Action for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a time when licensed platformers were a dime a dozen. It was developed by Warthog and published by Warner Bros. Interactive, fitting right into that era of colorful, side-scrolling adventures based on popular cartoons. The game didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it offered a solid dose of Looney Tunes chaos on the go.
You alternate control between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, each with their own moves; Bugs can burrow underground to avoid enemies or access hidden areas, while Daffy can swim and throw eggs as projectiles. The main goal is to progress through levels inspired by the film, defeating enemies like Yosemite Sam or robot guards, often by dropping anvils on them or using environmental tricks. The pacing is brisk, with some tricky jumps and enemy patterns that keep you alert. It feels exactly like guiding these two troublemakers through their own slapstick misadventures.
