Luigi Adventure came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, developed and published by Nintendo. You control Luigi through a series of haunted mansions and eerie outdoor areas, with the goal of rescuing Mario from King Boo. Luigi's signature high, floaty jump takes some getting used to, but it becomes essential for bouncing on ghosts to stun them and for navigating precarious platforms. You spend a lot of time searching for keys to unlock doors and hunting for hidden switches to reveal new paths. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, and the difficulty can be surprisingly unforgiving, especially in later stages where precision jumps are mandatory.
