Game Overview
Lumines is one of those games that hooks you in the first minute—you drop these two-colored blocks while a pulsing electronic track drives the whole thing forward. At first, I kept messing up because I was too busy watching the trippy background visuals shift with each new skin. But once you get the rhythm, it’s weirdly satisfying—like Tetris if it had a DJ remixing every move. The PSP’s screen makes the colors pop, and the later levels get brutal in the best way possible.
Just don’t blame me when you catch yourself humming the tracks hours later.
