Play M.C. Kids (Beta) Online
Jump around McDonaldland as two kids, stacking burger blocks and dodging Hamburglar traps to steal back Ronald’s magic bag—it’s way weirder than it sounds.

M.C. Kids was a beta release for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Virgin Games and published by Ocean Software. It came out during a time when licensed platformers were common, and this one stood out for its unusual premise and surprisingly solid design.
You control one of two kids navigating through themed levels, jumping on platforms and avoiding enemies like the Hamburglar and Birdie. The main goal is to recover Ronald McDonald's stolen magic bag by collecting cards hidden throughout each stage. Key mechanics include flipping the world upside down by finding special blocks and stacking large, floating burger parts to create new platforms. The pacing is methodical, requiring careful observation rather than speed, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise jumps and enemy patterns. It feels inventive and a little strange, but the level design holds up better than you might expect from a fast food tie-in.
