Play Macadam Bumper Online
You're in a tiny bumper car, bouncing off walls and rivals with janky physics that turn every crash into chaotic comedy. Feels like Pac-Man if he traded pellets for rubber and reckless driving.
Macadam Bumper came out in 1985 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Ere Informatique. It was one of those early arcade-style titles that felt right at home on a PC, back when simple concepts and straightforward action were enough to keep you glued to the screen for hours. There wasn't a lot of fluff; it knew what it was and just got on with it.
You control a small bumper car, navigating maze-like arenas and trying to bump into rival cars to score points while avoiding getting shoved yourself. The main goal is to outlast the other cars, which get progressively more aggressive as you advance. The physics are deliberately loose and bouncy, making collisions unpredictable and often sending you careening into walls or other obstacles. Itโs fast, a little unforgiving, and the sheer unpredictability of each impact keeps you tense. Playing it feels like trying to stay upright in a room where everyone else is just as determined to knock you over.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
