Play Major League Baseball (Rev A) Online
Pitch, bat, and field your way to victory in Major League Baseball (Rev A) on NES; control your team and try to outsmart the opposing pitcher.
Major League Baseball (Rev A) came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, developed and published by Nintendo. It was one of the earlier baseball games on the console, arriving at a time when sports simulations were still finding their footing with simple graphics and straightforward mechanics.
You control a full team of players, each represented by a number rather than a real name, and your goal is to win baseball games through pitching, batting, and fielding. Key mechanics include timing your swing against different pitch types, such as fastballs and curveballs, and positioning fielders to catch fly balls or make diving stops. The game moves at a deliberate pace, with some choppy animation, and the difficulty can feel sharp, especially when trying to read breaking pitches. It feels satisfying when you finally connect with a well-timed hit and send your runner sprinting around the bases.
