Makeruna! Makendou 2 came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, developed by Datam Polystar. It was part of that late SNES era when developers were really pushing what the hardware could do with fast, detailed sprite work and chaotic multiplayer action. This game fits right in with other competitive brawlers of the time, but it definitely has its own style.
You control one of several martial artists, each with their own exaggerated moves, and your goal is to knock opponents off the screen or drain their health. The fighting is frantic, with characters able to pick up and throw each other, use screen-filling special attacks, and even bounce off walls. Matches are fast and unpredictable, often turning into messy scrambles near the edges. It feels like pure, uncomplicated fun, especially with a friend in the same room.
