Game Overview

Ever wanted to wrestle a kappa or suplex a tengu? Makeruna! Makendou 2 is that game—a ridiculous, supernatural SNES wrestling match where every opponent is some kind of Japanese folklore creature with absolutely unhinged moves. One second you're dodging a floating umbrella spirit's spin attack, the next you're getting body-slammed by a grinning oni twice your size.

The controls are simple (mash buttons, hope for the best), but the charm is in the absurdity. The ring shakes when someone hits the mat hard, the crowd cheers like it's a festival, and half the characters look like they wandered in from a yokai-themed fever dream. If you played the first Makendou or even Slam Masters, this one doubles down on the chaos with weirder fighters and faster matches.

It's not deep, but it's the kind of game where you'll yell "WHAT WAS THAT?!" at the screen when a giant frog suddenly leaps off the ropes. Perfect for when you want something loud, silly, and very, very 90s.
