Game Overview

I picked up Manhunt 2 on the PSP back in 2008, a time when handhelds were really pushing what you could do with mature, gritty games on the go. Rockstar London developed it, and Rockstar Games published it, which made sense given their reputation for dark, atmospheric titles. It was one of those games that felt risky to play in public, with its intense themes and graphic content, but it definitely stood out on the platform.

You control Daniel Lamb, a patient who escapes from a psychiatric facility with no memory of his past. The main objective is to survive while uncovering the truth behind a sinister experiment. The gameplay hinges on stealth executions; you sneak through environments, use distractions to isolate enemies, and perform brutal takedowns with whatever tools you find. Firearms are available but scarce, making each encounter tense and deliberate. The pacing is methodical, often requiring patience as you observe patrol routes and choose the right moment to strike. It feels claustrophobic and unnerving, like you're always one mistake away from being discovered.
