Game Overview
Manhunt 2 ditches the original’s storyline and drops you into Dixmor Asylum—a place where the staff are way more into torture than therapy. When the power cuts out, all hell breaks loose, and you’re thrown into the chaos as either Dr. Daniel Lamb or Leo Kasper. It starts in the asylum, but things quickly spiral into other grim locations.
Stealth is key early on—you’ll be sneaking through shadows, tossing objects to distract guards, and holding your breath during tense hide-and-seek moments. Later, when guns show up, it shifts into a brutal cover shooter where every firefight feels desperate. The executions? Still disgustingly creative, with three escalating levels of brutality (though some are censored with awkward cutaways). The Wii version even makes you physically mimic kills with motion controls—weirdly immersive, if a bit clunky.
Each platform has its quirks: Wii gets motion controls and a tutorial, while PSP and PS2 keep the samurai sword (which, honestly, makes up for missing the Wii’s extra animations). It’s grimy, tense, and unapologetically violent—just don’t expect a deep story to go with the carnage.
