The main goal is to rescue prisoners and thwart the villain's plans across several missions. Signature mechanics include deflecting enemy attacks with precise timing, exploring nonlinear areas to find keys and hostages, and engaging in one on one duels that require careful observation of your opponent's stance. The pacing is deliberate, with some backtracking, and the difficulty can spike during boss fights. It feels satisfying to outmaneuver guards and leave your mark on each stage.
