You’re Dr. Ferdinand Social (yes, that’s his real name), stalking through foggy London streets and candlelit mansions, stabbing vampires with a cane sword like some kind of Victorian-era action hero.
The first thing you’ll notice is how moody it all feels—the music’s got this slow, creeping dread, and the enemies pop out of the darkness just enough to make you jump. But it’s not all scares: swapping between weapons (daggers for speed, axes for raw power, a pistol when you just need to keep your distance) keeps fights from getting stale. That first time you accidentally walk into a werewolf without the right weapon equipped? Yeah, you’ll learn fast.
It’s short, tough, and absolutely oozing with gothic atmosphere. If you’ve ever wished Castlevania had more gas lamps and fewer whips, this is your game.
