Match It II came out in 2020 for Arcade systems, developed by GameDev Studios. It was part of that late wave of arcade-style puzzle games, the kind you'd find tucked in the corner of a pizza place or a bowling alley, right before everything shifted fully to downloads and home consoles. You control a cursor to select and flip tiles, trying to find matching pairs before the timer runs out. The main objective is to clear each board completely to advance to the next, more difficult screen. Its signature mechanics include a cascading timer that gets faster with every match you make and special "shock" tiles that reset your progress if you accidentally pair them. The pacing is relentless; you start calm, but soon you're frantically clicking, trying to remember where you saw that blue star two seconds ago. It feels like your brain is overheating in the best way possible.
